Once you've picked out your bike at a Ushop, request an offer and mention your contract type with Ubike - be it leasing, renting, or purchasing. The Ushop will then input this offer into our system, initiating the validation process.
Once you have your offer, it undergoes a seamless validation process. You can track the progress at any time through our Biker App, which includes approvals from both you and your employer.
After validation, your bike will be delivered. All that's left is for you to enjoy your ride!
After a 36-month lease, you can opt to buy the bike at a significantly reduced price.
By inputting the bike's price into the simulator below, you can estimate the monthly lease payment. Note that it only calculates the bike's cost, excluding locks and accessories. If you are employed on a permanent contract and plan to use your bicycle at least 10% of your annual commuting, you are entitled to a bike. There are plenty advantages to use a bike, you avoid traffic jams, you keep fit and look after your well-being. Pay a visit to a nearby Ushop for more information and get the order placed.
If your bike breaks down in Belgium and you're at least 1km away from home, or up to 30km outside of the country, you can get 24/7 assistance. All you need to do is call the below number+32 (0)2 626 20 52 and provide:•your policy number (MA33008241)•your frame number.
If your bike has been stolen, it's important to report the theft to us at insurance@ubike.be within 48 hours. You'll need to provide us with
•Your coverage policy (see Standard Service Package available for download at the bottom of this page),
•A police report (or certificate of complaint),
•And a detailed description of the circumstances, including the time and place of the theft.
Please keep in mind that we may ask for photos of the lock keys, battery, etc. later on.
If this is your first theft, you may be eligible for a replacement bike as part of our standard service package.
During the time between reporting the theft and receiving your replacement bike, your monthly payments will be paused.
If you've been in a bicycle accident, please let us know within 48 hours by emailing insurance@ubike.be. To make a claim, you'll need to provide us with:
•Your coverage policy (see Standard Service Package available for download at the bottom of this page),
•A completed claims document,
•Photos of the damage,
•An estimate for the repair of the Ushop (which doesn't have to be provided within 48 hours).
•If a third party was involved, we'll also need the police report.
If you sustained personal injury, your work accident insurance will cover you if the accident happened on your way to or from work, or your family liability insurance will cover you.
Please note that cosmetic damage, such as scratches, is not covered.
An excess of 50 € will be applied.
Once your leasing contract is activated, you'll receive an annual budget for preventive maintenance or minor repairs. Please keep in mind that your budget will be renewed every year on the anniversary of your contract and can't be carried over to the following year.To check your balance, simply enter your email address (the same one you used when you ordered your bike) below.
If your leasing contract with Ubike is coming to an end, the bike will become the property of your employer as the contract is between Ubike and your employer.However, you can choose to take ownership of the bike by paying a limited amount of taxes and social security fees. The cost will depend on the value of the bike, as shown in the table below.Once you become the 100% owner of the bike, you can do whatever you want with it. It may be worth considering renewing the experience given the savings you have enjoyed through the bike leasing program.
There may be various reasons why you'd want to terminate your leasing contract, such as being laid off or falling sick for an extended period. If you're considering ending your lease, please contact info@ubike.be
Moreover, keep in mind the following general rules:
You're allowed to return the bike at any time, and you'll be charged the current residual value without any extra costs.

Yes, the leasing contract continues, a repair will be carried out once the company gives the go-ahead and an excess will be charged
Yes, Ubike will only be able to stop the leasing contract and the invoicing after receiving the verdict from the insurance company. If the Total Loss is confirmed, Ubike will stop the leasing on the date of the loss and will eventually reimburse you the excess. An excess will be charged (if applicable)

Repairs can only be carried out by an authorised bikeshop, we do not have a certification system in place, if you wish to carry out repairs it is your own responsibility.
The repair can only be done after the insurance has been investigated & verdict, if you decide to authorise the repair and pay for it yourself, it is your responsibility because at this stage there is no guarantee that the claim will be covered
Buy the same lock at your own expense so that you are still directly covered by the insurance in case of theft/attempted theft - the insurance will compensate later
